Alpha Exploration Is Chasing 15 g/t Gold at Aburna
Alpha Exploration has the drills turning at Aburna, and the target is high-grade gold. The company has commenced both core and reverse-circulation drilling in a fully funded 2026 phase-one program of approximately 6,500 metres.
Alpha Exploration (TSXV: ALEX) is advancing the Aburna Gold Project, and there's a good reason the market is watching this program. A prior highlight from the project — hole ABD012 — returned 18 metres grading 15.33 g/t gold. That's the kind of grade that makes explorers want to keep drilling.
The bull case: fully funded means Alpha isn't going back to the market mid-program to keep the rigs running, and a 6,500-metre campaign gives plenty of chances to build on that earlier high-grade hit. When a company is fully financed and chasing 15 g/t gold, drill results become the whole story.
The risk: past intercepts don't guarantee future ones, and phase-one programs can come up short.
