Andina Copper Confirmed a Third Porphyry — Volume Went 21x

Andina Copper (ANDC.V) just added a third porphyry to the count, and the tape lit up like a switchboard.

Andina is drilling the Piuquenes porphyry cluster — the kind of copper-gold system where finding one centre is good and finding several starts to look like a district. Hole PIU13 delivered the goods: 468m at 0.50% Cu and 0.30 g/t Au from 700m, including a punchier 164m at 0.70% Cu and 0.44 g/t Au.

The upside case builds from there. That intercept confirms a third porphyry copper-gold centre, with mineralization extending northeast alongside PIU12. And the pattern isn't closed — an 800m x 700m geophysical (MT) anomaly sits largely untested, leaving obvious room to grow the cluster. The market clearly took notice: shares traded up about 16% on roughly 3.9 million shares, about 21 times average daily volume.

The bear case: a single volume spike and a wide, low-to-moderate-grade intercept are an exploration story, not an economic one — that untested anomaly still has to deliver.

Three porphyries, one untested anomaly, and buyers paying attention.
