Cascadia's Biggest Carmacks Drill Since 2007 Is Hitting Wide Copper
Cascadia Minerals (TSXV: CAM) is drilling the largest program at its Carmacks Copper-Gold Project since 2007 — and the holes are coming back wide.
Cascadia is advancing Carmacks in central Yukon, a road-accessible project that keeps logistics simple. The 2026 campaign is fully funded and spans 15,000 metres, the biggest push at the property in nearly two decades. That kind of program signals conviction.
Here is the upside case. Hole CD-26-046 returned 106.62m of 1.09% CuEq, including 23.15m of 1.42% Cu with 0.51 g/t Au at Zone 2000S. Hole CD-26-041 added 98.16m of 0.92% Cu at Zone 147. These are wide, near-surface copper-gold intervals — the kind of intercepts that build tonnage cheaply — and they land ahead of a planned resource update that could reframe the asset.
The bear case: a resource update is a milestone, not a mine, and wide moderate-grade copper still has to clear economic hurdles before it means anything to the bottom line.
Fully funded, road-accessible, wide copper into a catalyst. Cascadia is one to keep an eye on.
